Have you ever thought to visit India? Being a travel Blogger I would definitely gonna recommend you to visit this blue city ie jodhpur!!!

Jodhpur was the place which I was insisted to be added on the list during my vacations so let’s explore this beautiful place. So today I’m going to guide you to visit this blue city by sharing their culture, varieties of food their places and specially their great monuments so let’s begin.

 Everyone generally have a basic question that why jodhpur is painted blue!!!there are number of reasons for that number.

 firstly it may be due to its historical believe that many brahmins lift her and it also indicate the colour of Lord Shiva that is blue .

Another reason behind this is that the colour blue helps the city to keep their home cools during summer months,  Moreover there is evidence of indigo plantation That wouldn’t made the color blue really available.

 Lastly it would have given beautiful views of Fort  which attracted the  travelers  who all  are passing through Rajasthan.

HISTORICAL VIEW

Row jodha,   rajpoot chief founded the city in 1459 . He was also successful in establishing a Kingdom through winning the surrounding territory which is known as MARWAR. The city was able to have it’s profit  through it’s flourishing trades like copper silk dates as it was located on the strategic road from Delhi to Gujarat.

 Mughal Period

After the death of that chandrahasan rathore, the Kingdom Was controlled by  Mughal emperor Akbar in 1707,soon after Aurangzeb died ,maratha in intervention was being witnessed by the city and during the rule, Jodhpur was the largest land of any rajputana and the marwaris, the merchants of maravars kept on flourishing.

During the period of independence the city was being ruled by hemant Singh in 1947  After independence he was opposing for joining the Indian union and wanted to carry his own rule over this state.  However, after  convincing the people by Sardar vallabhai Patel, Home minister of India join jodhpur state as the second largest city of Rajasthan.

Location

The city is very important for the military purpose because it is very strategically well located to the borders off the capital city Delhi. The airports also  played  role during indo Pakistan wars in 1965 and 1971.

This Palace is popular for its beautiful creativity designs. This Palace is divided into 3 areas which is being still owned by one of the Royal family. The other first one is being converted into a heritage hotel for Royal experience for the tourists and the other second one is a museum which shows pics off different ages.

3. Ghantagar

This is also known as Clock tower. The tower was built by Maharaja Sardar Singh between 1880 and 1911. This Palace becomes the most popular landmarks in the city.

4 . FLYING FOX

This is the most popular tourist sport and adventures park where you can go to experience different adventurous activities

5. KAYLANA LAKE

This Lake is spread over a land of 84 point square kilometre. This Lake is surrounded by lush greens and exotic species off the words. This place was also Use for hunting which make it more charming and a great worth to visit in jodhpur city.
